Mayhem Share Live “Deathcrush” Video Ahead of Anniversary Celebration
In honor of their 40th anniversary, black metal magnates Mayhem will be putting on two exclusive shows in their beloved Oslo at Sentrum Scene. Their May 10 event is sold out, and there are still some tickets available for the May 11 performance.
In addition to those special shows, Mayhem will also be playing Maryland Deathfest 2024 in Baltimore, MD from May 23-26.
Ahead of those epic and historic performances, the band shared a live video of their song “Deathcrush” from their forthcoming album, Daemonic Rites, which you can preorder today.
Daemonic Rites follows their live studio album released in 2019 and the EP Atavistic Black Disorder released in 2021.
Necrobutcher previously said about the album:
“We wanted to document how great the band and set sounds like after almost 40 years of playing live. As a treat to our fans, we decided to release this live recording.
“I knew from day one back in 1984 that this band was going to be outstanding—one of the best bands ever! I guess that’s a big reason why we still are here after 39 years—and counting.”
