Rivers of Nihil Drop New Single for “Criminals”

We recently reported that Rivers of Nihil are back in the studio, and now they’ve dropped a new single and video, which you can stream below.

The song is the first time they’ve showcased the work of their new guitarist, Andy Thomas, formerly of Black Crown Initiate. He also contributes vocals. Their current recording sessions are happening at Atrium Audio with Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland. Their fifth album is due to release in 2025 via Metal Blade Records.

“Our newest single ‘Criminals,’ is by far one of the most aggressive tracks we’ve released in quite some time and displays the power of the new lineup at a full 10 out of 10,” says Rivers Of Nihil vocalist and bassist Adam Biggs. “Lyrically, the song is a meditation on the nature of crime, punishment, and the delicate balance of power therein. So, show up for the shredding, stay for the contemplation of truth and justice. Enjoy!”
