Megadeth Announces ‘Destroy All Enemies’ U.S. Tour with Mudvayne, All That Remains

Later this year, iconic thrash metal outfit Megadeth is heading out on a 33-date tour across the U.S. and this time they’re bringing along Mudvayne and All That Remains.

Set to kick off on August 2 in Rogers, Arkansas and coming to an end on September 28 in Nashville, Tennessee, the Live Nation produced tour will stop at what looks like a number of secondary markets after a cursory look at the list of dates. Places like Bend, Oregon and Macon, Georgia aren’t quite as big as say Portland, Oregon and Atlanta, Georgia, for example. Naturally they’ll also hit big stops like Los Angeles, Boston, and Las Vegas along the way.

Speaking of the newly announced tour, frontman Dave Mustaine said he’s excited to bring the current iteration of the band back to North America. Especially now with Teemu Mäntysaari holding down guitar duties after Kiko Loureiro “left” the band.

“Our ‘Crush The World’ tour has been a tremendous experience for the four of us. We are all playing tight, and that has made it possible for me to really focus on solos and singing, we are playing more songs than ever before, and we are closer to each other, onstage AND off. I’m excited to see Mudvayne, and All That Remains. Join us as we DESTROY ALL ENEMIES.”

With their Latin American tour ending this month and a European run coming up this summer, Megadeth will likely be running like a well-tuned machine by the time they get back to North America. Should make for a great show.
