Thy Art Is Murder Ask Walmart to Give Fan the Night Off to Attend a Show
Some harmless internet shenanigans ensued when Thy Art Is Murder noticed Walmart posting about a valued employee wearing a shirt of their band.
The photo that caught Thy Art Is Murder’s eye was of Walmart employee Christian from Johnsburg, IL. Thanks to his public love for the band, they are now officially petitioning Walmart to give him the day off when the tour makes it way to his neck of the woods.
The closest the show is coming would be the House of Blues tour stop on April 20. So far, Walmart hasn’t responded, but we’re hoping the come up with some kind of cheeky response to the band.
On social media, Thy Art Is Murder say:
“Yo Walmart let our man Christian have the day off for our Chicago show, free tickets if he wears the Walmart smock.”
