Motionless In White Was in Philly to Perform Rhea Ripley’s WrestleMania Entrance
You’ve gotta be living under a rock (but not The Rock) if you were completely unaware that WWE‘s annual grand spectacle WrestleMania took place in Philadelphia over the weekend. Lots of crazy story lines came to a close and new ones erupted from two nights of big strong men and women slappin’ meat live in front of millions around the world over the course of both nights.
Yet for everything that changed, one thing remains constant — Australian powerhouse Rhea Ripley is the WWE Womens World Champion. Moments before she faced off against former champ Becky “The Man” Lynch, the “Eradicator” got a little added boost to her already bombastic entrance when Pennsylvania’s own Motionless In White took the stage at the Lincoln Financial Center to play her out to the ring.
For those that don’t know, Ripley’s been coming out to the ring with the band’s track “Demon In Your Dreams” as her entrance theme for a couple years now. Since this past weekend was the “Showcase of the Immortals,” WWE did things big and got the band out to actually play the tune. As you can see in the clip below, more than 70,000 people were in attendance when Chris Motionless and the rest of the guys played the song amidst huge pyrotechnics and a little sing along from Ripley herself.
It was a moment that had to have been fuckin’ awesome for all parties involved. Rhea got to jam out to a band she presumably enjoys, the fans got a spectacle they won’t forget, and Motionless In White got to perform before a massive crowd in their home state. A classic win-win-win.
