Cannibal Corpse’s Paul Mazurkiewicz is Doing Standup

Cannibal Corpse drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz has a solo project, and no, it’s not an instrumental album. It’s stand-up comedy. sexpect “How many fetuses does it take to screw in a lightbulb?”-type jokes? Maybe. Apparently his first show, which is Saturday, March 30 at The Commodore in Ybor City, Florida, will blend death metal and alt comedy as he tells stories from his career.

Other than that background, we’re as in the dark as the rest of the world when it comes to what his stand-up will be like. But interested parties should stay tuned to see if he gets blasted or rave reviews.

Speaking of Cannibal Corpse, the band will be headlining a European tour this fall starting September 20 in Oberhausen, Germany and wrapping up on October 20 in Frankfurt, Germany. They’ll be playing alongside Municipal Waste, Immolation, and Schizophrenia.
