You’ll Soon Be Murdered by Slipknot Thanks to Upcoming Dead by Daylight Collection
Digital murder simulator and asymmetric online survival horror game Dead By Daylight is getting a little Iowa flavor later this month, as special masks and costumes based on the various members of Slipknot will make their way into the game on March 26.
Though announced last May by developer Behaviour Interactive, the Slipknot collection will include eight masks and one full skin for various killers already present in the game. In layman’s terms, that means existing characters you already have access to will just look different thanks to the collection.
Just like they did with the recent Iron Maiden collection, these cosmetic items will change the way certain aspects look in the game. Only Sid Wilson’s persona will get a full skin in the game, fully replacing the look of “The Legion.” The other skins/masks will be as follows:
- Corey Taylor (The Trapper)
- M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan (The Clown)
- Mick Thomson (The Wraith)
- James Root (The Deathslinger)
- Sid Wilson (The Legion)
- Alessandro “Vman” Venturella (The Hillbilly)
- Michael Pfaff (The Blight)
- Current keyboardist (The Doctor)
Unlike the Iron Maiden crossover, which not only saw cosmetic changes to killers based on the band’s iconic mascot Eddie but also included Iron Maiden t-shirts for the survivor characters, this Slipknot collab looks like it’s just about the killers.
