Baroness Heading Overseas for ‘Sweet Oblivion Tour’
Months after the release of their latest album STONE, Baroness announced that they’ll be heading back to Europe for a run of dates. According to the band, this is the first time they’ll be heading out that way in support of their latest record.
“Finally, we’re coming over to play some festivals we haven’t been to before, play songs from STONE for the first time in Europe and the U.K. and most importantly, see YOU after too long a time away!”
Set to kick off in Vienna, Austria on July 24 and coming to a close on August 18 in Carhaix, France, the tour will see them hit a number of countries along the way. Included in their touring plans are a number of European festival gigs, so if you’re heading out to Wacken, Brutal Assault, or ArcTanGent, you’re going to have a shot at catching Baroness live.
Tickets for all headlining dates will go on sale this Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. local time.
