Full of Hell Reveal New Album Coagulated Bliss, Drop First Single “Doors to Mental Agony”
Power-violence motherfuckers Full of Hell have a new album coming out next month and its first single is equal parts unmitigated fury and despair.
Starting with the new single, titled “Doors to Mental Agony,” the track is less than two minutes of potent rage that highlights the band’s take no bullshit sound. According to vocalist Dylan Walker, it’s all about the pitfalls that exist while living in certain parts of the U.S., where one misstep can be your last.
“In this life there are many doors. Rural America exists in a vacuum with its own mundane horrors and dead ends. Every person you know will stumble through one of these doors at some point, falling into mistakes that can’t be undone. Look on reality and weep.”
As for the album, titled Coagulated Bliss, this will be Full of Hell’s sixth full-length since the band’s inception back in 2009. With this being the follow up to 2021’s Garden of Burning Apparitions and their latest release since their collaboration with Nothing titled When No Birds Sang, there’s a lot of excitement riding on this one.
The new album will feature 12 new tracks and is set for release on April 26 via Closed Casket Activities, though you can preorder it now. Looking forward to its eventual unleashing onto the public, guitarist Spencer Hazard said this new effort by the band was the result of wanting to have it exemplify everything that makes up Full of Hell.
“I wanted to try to take every aspect of what we’ve done from previous releases and integrate it into this one.”
