Knocked Loose Reveal New Album, Studio Version of “Blinding Faith” Released

0

Metalcore heavyweights Knocked Loose are back. Earlier this morning, they announced a new album titled You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, as well as the studio version of “Blinding Faith,” a song they recently debuted live.

Set for release on May 10 via Pure Noise Records, the new album features 10 new tracks, with two featuring guest spots from Poppy and Motionless in White’s Chris Motionless. The band describe their new release as a “diverse, cohesive and savagely aggressive album that sums up the massive strides they’ve taken during their decade as a band, and asserts their boundless potential going forward.” From hearing the first single, I can see it.

The title apparently comes from a moment vocalist Bryan Garris had while battling some pre-flight jitters. While speaking with the woman sitting next to him, she apparently told him “you won’t go before you’re supposed to” and voila — album title.

As for the single, guitarist Isaac Hale revealed that it’s all about religious hypocrisy and groupthink.

“It was just hilarious how many people showed up to church that I knew were rude, horrible, selfish people. They knew that it made them seem like a better person — or if they said the words, it would redeem them of any negative quality just because they showed face.”

The single’s video, which you can check out below, was directed by Kevin Lombardo. The album itself was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Drew “WZRD BLD” Fulk.

Knocked Loose are currently out on a sold out EU/UK run, but they’ll be back touring in the states this April for a headlining set of dates. You can find all of their scheduled tour dates below.
