Give in to Temptation with Leather Lung’s Latest Single “Guilty Pleasure”
In the words of Leather Lung‘s frontman Mike Vickers, “it’s Thirst Thursday, mothafuckas” so you know what that means. We’ve got a new track from their upcoming album Gravside Grin to fuel your evening.
This time around though, it ain’t an ass-swaying groover like “Spit In The Casket,” nor is it a party rager like “Empty Bottle Boogie.” No, for the third single off the Massachusetts-based band’s debut full-length album, we’ve got a down and dirty knuckle-dragger of a track with “Guilty Pleasure.” It’s heavy, it’s dirty, and it’s sure to bash you over the head a bit.
Speaking of the inspiration behind the track, Vickers explains that it’s about giving in to that little devil sitting on your shoulder.
“Love may be the answer, but it doesn’t always make it fun. Sometimes doing the wrong thing feels right. ‘Guilty Pleasure’ is a song about that little voice inside you saying ‘fuck it’. Don’t succumb to fear, become something scarier.”
