Inter Arma Share Star-Studded Live Video of “Destroyer”

0

We’re calling it now—2024 is the era of the doom comeback album, and we are here for it. It looks like Inter Arma are going to be part of that trend, as they just released some live footage of them absolutely tearing through their song “Destroyer.”

The song was recorded at the famous Avondale Music Hall in Chicago on November 11, 2023. It also features a star-studded lineup, with Bruce Lamont of Yakuza, Bloodiest, and some other bands on saxophone and Jon Liedtke of Lost Tribes Of The Moon on theremin.

According to the band, Justin Ennis recorded the audio, while Inter Arma bassist Joel Moore mixed, mastered, recorded, and edited the whole thing. Moore explained how this all went down.

“If you are familiar with Bruce Lamont or our resident alien Jon Liedtke, then you already know they are both psychedelic weirdos in the best possible way. So when they came out to guest at our Chicago show on the Full Of Hell tour, we thought it would be a good opportunity to break out ‘Destroyer’ for a full-on freak out. Thankfully, we captured the audio/video for the show and were able to make this: a melange of live performances, experiences from the road, and the influence of drugs and alcohol. We hope you like it. More stuff is coming soon.”

While this isn’t a full-on announcement of a new record release date, don’t get discouraged, as it sounds like there will be more from the Inter Arma soon. They are planning to release a new album, so fingers crossed for this year, and they also booked their first show of the year at Roadburn. We can’t wait to see what else is in store.
