Korn Announced a Big Ass Concert at London’s Gunnersbury Park with Spiritbox, Wargasm, and More
Looks like nu-metal’s resurgence is continuing in a big way in 2024, as the genre’s godfathers Korn have announced their biggest U.K. show will be taking place on Sunday, August 11 in London’s Gunnersbury Park.
Korn frontman Jonathan Davis said he was looking forward to the show, saying it’s been a long time coming for the band’s U.K. audience.
“We’re really excited to play a big show for our London fans in a different kind of setting. It’s been seven years since we last played London, so we’re ready to bring it to Gunnersbury Park with our incredible supporting artists: Denzel Curry, Spiritbox, Wargasm and Loathe.”
Joining them for the show will be a diverse lineup of acts, featuring Florida rapper Denzel Curry, along with Spiritbox, Wargasm and Loathe.
Speaking of the newly announced show, Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante said today’s announcement was huge, since it meant she and the rest of the band would be playing with artists they admire.
“We’re excited to be back in London, playing with some of our favorite artists. To come back to London in 2024 in such a massive way is a huge honor for us.”
Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday, January 12 at 10 a.m. GMT, or 5 a.m. EST.
Today’s announcement adds yet another show to a couple of shows already announced for the end of July. Korn will also play with Spiritbox on July 30 at the Spodek arena in Katowice, Poland. Earlier in the month, they’ll also be playing the Hills of Rock Festival in Bulgaria on July 25.
They are the first few shows that Korn’s got on the bill for 2024, but we’re sure more dates will be announced later.
