Bleeding Through Announce There will be a New Record in 2024
Metalcore band Bleeding Through have made it official: They will definitely be dropping new music in 2024, much to the delight of fans.
The Orange-County based metalcore band mentioned back in 2022 that they were entering the studio. They initially worked on rerecording songs from This Is Love, This Is Murderous and played 20th-anniversary shows to support the album in 2023. Now, they’ve shared on social media that a new record is finally forthcoming:
“Happy New Year. 2023 was fucking epic! 2024 will bring more shows and a NEW Full Length! Be warned!
The band have a longstanding history, having initially formed in 1999. They broke up in 2014, played a reunion show in 2016, got back together with new music in 2017, and in 2018, officially announced their full return.
According to an interview from when the band reunited fully, Brandan Schieppati said the band initial break up came because its members wanted to pursue other things in life:
“Bleeding Through stopped in the beginning because we were all approaching our mid-30s. We wanted to start families and kids. Other career opportunities came up, and once you give 15 years to something, it’s hard to do something else because that’s all you know. And we tried, and we gave it a legit effort the last couple years of doing Bleeding Through to do it more on a part-time basis. And really we found that there were other things during that part time basis, like the people that were still working for the band at the moment, we didn’t feel it was the right team anymore. And we found we still had obligations to Bleeding Through to carry out. Then we wouldn’t be able to advance in other aspects of our personal life, which I think it was important.
“It was really important for us to take a step back and work on our personal lives to accomplish all the things I mentioned.”
Stay tuned for more details about the new Bleeding Through album in the coming months.
