Insomnium to Tour North America with Omnium Gatherum and Wilderun Next Spring

Get ready to add yet another potential tour to follow to the calendar, because Finnish melodic death metal outfit Insomnium announced today that they’ll be making their way back to the States for “25 nights of gloom and sinister anthems.”

Touring on the back of their latest album Anno 1696, which was released this past February, Insomnium plan on building upon the momentum they’ve built in recent months. As such, they’re planning to kick off their newly announced tour on April 11 in Cambridge, Massachusetts and then running through their planned 25 dates before coming to an end in New York City’s Gramercy Theatre.

Coming along for the tour will be their countrymen and melodic death metal cohorts Omnium Gatherum, as well as American symphonic progressive folk metal band Wilderun.

Tickets and VIP passes for each stop on the tour will go on sale this Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m.
