Better Lovers Announce North American Tour with SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Foreign Hands and Greyhaven
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there have been a fuckton of new tours announced today and this one is just getting added to the pile. Better Lovers just announced a headlining month-long North American tour with SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Foreign Hands and Greyhaven providing support.
The bands will set off on the tour starting April 18 in Indianapolis, Indiana and coming to an end in London, Ontario, Canada on May 16. In fact, more than just two locations in Canada will get some love this tour, with stops in Calgary, Winnepeg, Edmonton, and Vancouver all on the itinerary.
Comprised of ex-Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato, but also Fit for an Autopsy‘s Will Putney and former Every Time I Die members Jordan Buckley, Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, and Stephen Micciche, Better Lovers is one of the more intriguing new acts to come around in the last few months.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, the band said the following in a prepared statement:
“The energy we’re certain to accumulate during our upcoming, first annual BLissmas Weekend is essential for a beast as rare as Better Lovers, who plan to spend their first hibernation in a record studio deep within the forests of northern New Jersey. When the temperatures rise and the earth thaws in the Spring of 2024, this five-headed savage shall emerge, equipped with a frenzied new litter of songs, inevitably stir-crazy and hungrier than ever. What will follow is a 21-date, North American city feasting, one that authorities are advising earth born humans to make no attempts to stop. If you live in or near one of these locations, get your affairs in order. Submission is your only hope. Receive your ticket. Enjoy the sacrifice.”
Since their announcement back in April, Better Lovers has released a couple singles, dropped a surprise EP titled God Made Me An Animal, and gone on tour in the U.K. and parts of the U.S. They’ve even announced two dates for their special holiday show dubbed “BLismass” that’s going to take place in Buffalo, New York with opening acts It Dies Today, The Callous Daoboys, Greyhaven, and Spaced.
