Poison the Well Announce New Show Dates

We already knew Poison the Well were planning anniversary show dates, but now they’ve sweetened the pot by expanding the areas they’re going to on that tour.

The Florida metalcore icons first dropped the news back in September when they announced plans to perform a You Come Before You anniversary tour with shows in Los Angeles, Anaheim, Chicago, and Brooklyn in 2024.

The iconic record is the third full-length from Poison the Well, originally released July 1, 2003. It was their only major label release, oddly coming out on Atlantic Records. Coming out during the heart of the metalcore movement, this record is considered pivotal for it’s combination of heaviness and underground fury with the more mainstream catchiness that puts the “core” in metalcore. Fans are eager for a chance to hear the epic, 20-year-old record in its entirity this coming year.

Of course, those shows sold out pretty quickly, so now, they’ve announced a second Chicago date—Apparently love for metalcore is alive and well there—as well as two additional dates in California and New York.

Support at these shows will vary, but will be provided by Terror, Spy, Seeyouspacecowboy, Volcano, Indecision, Skycamefalling, and Excide.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. CST.
