Napalm Death, Pig Destroyer Primitive Man, and Wormrot to Tour Europe and U.K.

This absolute punisher of a tour to sweep Europe and the U.K. includes Napalm Death, Primitive Man, Pig Destroyer, and Wormrot.

While not every band are on every date, the fact that this super-troupe is getting together at all is impressive. They’re all extremely heavy, and they span generations and styles but all show how diverse and varied heavy, grindy music can be.

American readers are likely wondering whether this tour will come to the U.S. We certainly hope so—although with such busy schedules, it’s not clear how long the bands will be able to remain on the road together. Still, we can hope. 

Since the dates are still a few months in the future, this lineup also has fans hoping this could be in relation to the rumors that Napalm Death might release a new album in 2024. Earlier this year, bassist Shane Embury hinted that the band were planning a follow-up to their 2020 record Throes Of Joy In The Jaws Of Defeatism.

“The last record, we started it musically in two stages, and then Barney [Napalm Death vocalist Mark Greenway] took quite a few days to record his vocals, ’cause we were touring,” he said at the time. “This one, I think we do a tour in February, maybe. That might be happening. And after that, I think Barn wants to take some time off, which will give me the time to sort of put… I’ve got lots of ideas; [I just need] to piece it together. And hopefully go into the studio and just kind of experiment.”
