Judas Priest Slow Things Down a Bit with “Trial By Fire”
Heavy metal masters of the craft Judas Priest have a new album coming out titled Invincible Shield early next year and as such, we’re getting a slow drip of new tunes from Rob Halford and co.
Today, the band dropped a lyric video for the album’s second single, “Trial By Fire.” Compared to the previous single “Panic Attack,” this new one’s got a slower, more deliberate feel to it. As you’d expect from Priest, the song sounds big. One can only imagine how massive it’s going to sound when they head on tour later next year.
Invincible Shield is the band’s 20th studio album and their follow up to 2018’s killer album Firepower. Now, I don’t know about you, but I think someone needs to invent a time machine so I can go forward in time and check this record out. I promise to report back…
The band have plans to do a quick U.K. tour for the first time in almost a decade just days after the new album’s release. Saxon and Uriah Heep will join them on that run. So if you’ll be in the area next March and want to catch Priest in their homeland, be sure to check out the dates below.
Invincible Shield will be available on March 8, but you can pre-order your copy today.
