Fast Food Worker Mistakes Ivan Moody for David Draiman in a Now Viral TikTok

Imagine you’re at work, minding your own business and all of a sudden, you’re face to face with a real life rock star. What do you do? Ask for an autograph? Stutter? Try to act cool? Well, the very least you should do is make sure you actually know who they are, otherwise you might be part of a viral TikTok video…

That’s pretty much what happened to a hapless Taco John’s employee over the weekend, as she served Five Finger Death Punch‘s Ivan Moody. As you can see in the clip below, apparently the woman asked Moody if he was in a band, which is probably something he gets a lot. When he said yes, apparently she said he was actually Disturbed frontman David Draiman. Whoops!

Given the situation, it’s easy to take a step back and laugh, which is what I imagine Moody did before filming the aforementioned TikTok. After all, he gave some love to the “Down With The Sickness” vocalist and added hashtags like #cantgetupset and #imafantoo.

Normally, I’d poke some fun and dunk on both Moody and Draiman for being two kings of butt rock, but I just can’t with this one, guys. It’s always fun to see a famous rock star — even someone like Moody — having a fun and hilarious interaction with a normal person in a totally banal setting. You can tell the lady was a little sheepish about making the mistake, but I’m sure she’s now a FFDP fan… God help her.

Of course, as someone pointed out in the video’s comments, this should result in a FFDP/Disturbed tour sponsored by Taco John’s because that’s how late stage capitalism works.
