The Ghost Inside Drop Video “Death Grip”
Metalcore band The Ghost Inside just dropped a video for “Death Grip,” and it goes hard.
The band just finished their tour with Underoath, and now, they’re gracing us with more music. The song is as heavy and blastly as you’d expect, but there’s also a haunting quality, and vocalist Jonathan Vigil dives into issues of his own mortality in the lyrics.
“‘Death Grip’ is a song about survival and defying your fate to create your own destiny. When push comes to shove, believe in yourself. You don’t need a lifeline when you’ve got a death grip.”
In addition to dropping new music, The Ghost Inside are throwing their second annual “ReBirthday Bash,” which is a celebration of life following the bus accident that got them all more in touch with their mortality. It takes place in San Diego at SOMA on November 18 and will feature Drain, Gideon, Texas In July, and No Bragging Rights.
