We Came As Romans Denied Entry to Canada

Last time we reported on We Came As Romans, we were talking about the band getting robbed. Well, these dudes can’t seem to catch a break. They recently also got denied entry into Canada. Which is crazy because they’re not even a real country, anyway.

The band is currently touring with Emmure, Bodysnatcher, and Archetypes Collide, and they had to cancel their Toronto show on October 18 at The Danforth Music Hall when they couldn’t get into the country.

Due to reasons beyond our control, we are forced to cancel tonight’s show at Danforth Music Hall. Ticket refunds are available at your point of purchase. We’re sorry to disappoint our fans. We hope to be back soon.

All we know right now is that We Came As Romans had trouble entering the company due to their carnet, a customs permit allowing their vehicle into Canada, and that ticket costs will be refunded.

After that somewhat cryptic message, a concerned fan reached out in response, and We Came As Romans assured that they were fine, but for some reason kept out of the country.

While this sucks for everyone involved, we’re glad to know that nothing worse has happened to the band. It just turns out that traveling between borders can be a pain in the ass.
