Ex-Mötley Crüe Guitarist Mick Mars to Release a Single This Halloween
He may be embroiled in a legal battle against his former bandmates, but Mick Mars ain’t putting his guitar down anytime soon. The 72-year-old axeman announced earlier today that he’ll be putting out a debut solo single on Halloween.
The single will be part of Mars’ debut solo album titled Another Side Of Mars, which is set to release sometime soon. As for the unnamed and unheard single, that track will get its world premiere the day prior on SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk.”
Speaking about the upcoming debut, Trunk rightfully said he was stoked to share the new music on his show.
“Psyched to announce I’ll be world premiering the first ever solo music from Mick Mars on #TrunkNation on 10/30 on my SiriusXM Faction Talk 103 show. Then Mick joins me live for an interview 10/31! Don’t miss this exclusive coming soon. 3-5P ET.”
To say Mick Mars has had a tumultuous year would be an understatement. After getting ousted from Mötley Crüe, Mars and his former bandmates engaged in a war of words, with Nikki Sixx taking point for most of the band’s stance on the matter.
While that whole mess will take a while before it’s fully resolved, at least we’re going to get new music out of it.
