Mouth For War Get a Little Emotional, Still Crush Faces with New Single “Saturate Me”
With a new album coming next month, hardcore band Mouth For War dropped a bunker buster of a track earlier today with the release of “Saturate Me.” As fans of the band have come to expect, the track jams face contorting breakdowns, brutal rhythms, and insanely pissed vocals right up the listener’s ass.
Set as the second single from their upcoming album Bleed Yourself, which is set to be released via MRNK Heavy on October 27, frontman Trae Roberts said the new track deals with some hard times and difficult truths.
“It’s one of the most emotional songs on this body of work. You feel like you’re relentlessly being dragged down and can’t go out of this hole. It has a similar meaning to ‘Under The Gun,’ but the rhythm builds differently.”
Honestly, I don’t know what else to really say about this one. It’s fucking heavy, man. But that’s to be expected, given Mouth For War’s previous output.
As for the new album itself, the band officially unveiled its cover art and full track listing today. You can find that information down below the video, along with the handful of shows they’ve got booked so far.
Bleed Yourself will be released on October 27, but you can preorder your copy in a variety of formats today.
