We Came As Romans Guitarist Robbed, Thief Escaped by Jumping Out a Fifth Floor Window
A wild situation occurred yesterday while metalcore band We Came As Romans was out on their tour down in Australia, as a robbery could have turned into a suicide, but thankfully everyone survived the incident.
According to guitarist Josh Moore, a 37-year-old man broke into and barricaded himself in Moore’s Adelaide hotel room, locking the band member out. While inside, the man grabbed whatever personal affects he could take before attempting to make his escape out the window. On the fifth floor.
I don’t know about you, but this reminds me of that “Spiderman shit” scene from The Wire.
The man survived the jump, but sustained serious injuries, causing him to call emergency services for help. He was taken to a nearby hospital and treated, but was taken into custody by police as a result. Officials say they were able to recover Moore’s passport from the injured man’s pockets.
We Came As Romans have three more shows planned while touring Australia, so hopefully the rest won’t be as eventful.
