Slaughter to Prevail Working on New Material, Announce North American Tour
In a pair of posts on the band’s Instagram from earlier this week, Slaughter to Prevail revealed that they’re in the studio and working on some new music. At this time, it looks like they’re laying down the drum tracks, which typically happens early on in the process.
We don’t know any more information about whatever they’re working on, nor do we know if this will even be a full-length follow up to last year’s Kostolom. We did, however, recently get a single in the form of “Viking,” so it’s likely that could end up on whatever they’re working on now.
That’s all speculation though, so I could be wayyyyy off the mark on that. And since I hate working on a guess, it’s nice to also be able to report that Slaughter to Prevail announced that they’re going back out on a North American tour this fall for another run of headlining dates.
Over the course of thirteen dates, the band will kick off their run in Riverside, California on November 2 and the tour will come to an end in Santa Cruz, California on November 24. You can find the full list of dates below, though tickets won’t go on sale until this Friday, September 1.
