Poppy Debuted Her Cover of Kittie’s “Spit” Last Week in Seattle
Back in May, YouTuber turned nu-industrial/experimental neophyte Poppy unveiled a fucking awesome cover of Kittie’s 1999 hit song “Spit.” At the time, said that her version took the original track and turned it “into a hyper-electronic nightmare.”
This past Friday, Poppy played a show in Seattle and she finally debuted her cover in front of an audience. If you’ve never seen Poppy perform live, then you’re in for a treat. She’s super energetic and her version of “Spit” is a perfect showcase for that energy.
She’s currently on tour with PVRIS, so I’m maybe she’ll bring this to the stage the whole run. If you’d like to check this out in person, you can find a list of dates and links for tickets below.
