Guns N’ Roses Officially Release Their New Single “Perhaps”
After the release of some phone footage of sound check performances of what might be a new Guns N’ Roses song, the band lifted the veil on their newest piece of music in a long while, titled “Perhaps.” Released to various U.S. radio stations, the track is also featured on the streaming service Audacy, where it’s being played all day.
Today’s roll out is definitely more coordinated than the accidental leak of the track that happened over the weekend, as TouchTunes jukeboxes at numerous bars throughout the country briefly featured the new song. As of this posting, the track is back on that service as well.
The story behind this song is that it apparently was part of the sessions that led to the Chinese Democracy album. Since work on that record started in ’98 and didn’t end until 2007, that means this track could have been written in the 2000s, or this could be a relic of the ’90s.
