Wolves in the Throne Room Announce a New EP, Stream Single “Twin Mouthed Spring”
Black metal from the Pacific Northwest is getting some representation next month, as Washington state’s Wolves In The Throne Room announced the impending release of their EP Crypt of Ancestral Knowledge on September 29.
Featuring a side that’s two black metal tracks “Beholden to Clan” and “Twin Mouthed Spring” and another side that just sounds wild, this EP seems like it’s going to be an absolute trip to listen to. According to the band, the second side of the EP described as an “atmospheric industrial” take on “Spirit of Lightning” while the second track, titled “Crown of Stone,” will be a dark ambient track linked at least by theme to “Mountain Magic.”
Crypt of Ancestral Knowledge can be preordered today via Relapse Records.
