Johnny Booth’s New Single “The Ladder” Dropped Ahead of Album Release This Friday

New York metalcore outfit Johnny Booth’s third album Moments Elsewhere is coming out this Friday and as such, they’ve dropped its third single, “The Ladder.”

Self-described as a band that “doesn’t miss,” Johnny Booth’s sound is heavy. However in “The Ladder,” the band mixes the super down-tuned fury of their contemporaries and meshes it with airy moments of clarity that last just long enough to catch your breath. And then it’s back to hitting you in the face with chugging guitar riffs and pummeling rhythms.

Moments Elsewhere is the band’s follow up to their sophomore full-length album Firsthand Accounts. Set to release this Friday, July 21, you can grab yourself some primo merch today.

In addition to this Friday’s album release, the band will be embarking on a run of shows next month throughout the U.S., with two album release shows in upstate New York scheduled at the end of July. You can find the full list of tour dates just past the music video below.
