AEW Wrestler Roderick Strong Makes His Debut to Killswitch Engage’s “The End of Heartache”

Professional wrestling is pretty fuckin’ fun. Sure, it’s a buncha half naked people slamming into each other for a couple hours a night risking bodily harm for a company that barely pays them a living wage, but there’s just something to how over-the-top everything is. It’s pretty well documented that a number of us here at the MetalSucks compound enjoy pro wrestling, especially since some metal musicians have gotten in on the act while others have contributed kick ass entrance themes.

So you’d imagine my surprise when during last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, former Ring of Honor champ Roderick Strong made his debut on the show with a little Killswitch Engage as his theme music. With “The End of Heartache” blasting on the PA system, he ran down the ramp and jumped into the ring to help his former tag team partner Adam Cole (Bay Bay), who was getting mobbed by the Jericho Appreciation Society.

The music played for only a short while and honestly most of that above was probably nothing but word salad to our non-wrestling fan readers, but it was a pretty cool moment.
