Armored Saint to Join W.A.S.P. on North American Tour Later This Year
Earlier today, heavy metal stalwarts W.A.S.P. announced that they’d be taking Armored Saint out on tour for the North American leg of their ‘The 40th Never Stops’ Tour. Starting in San Luis Obispo, California on August 4 and coming to an end on September 16 in Los Angeles, the 33-city tour will occasionally cross into Canada, giving our friends in the North a dose of heavy metal.
The last time W.A.S.P. toured the U.S. back in 2022, it was the first time they’d come to our neck of the woods in 10 years and ended up with 18 sold-out gigs. With that much excitement behind W.A.S.P. these days, it would only make sense that some of these newly announced days will be sold out too.
Looking to their coming run with W.A.S.P., Armored Saint and ex-Anthrax frontman John Bush said there was a high level of excitement surrounding the upcoming tour, since they’d be hitting areas they hadn’t in previous engagements.
“Hello SAINT loyalists! We’re happy to inform you guys that, due to the overwhelming response we got on the W.A.S.P./SAINT tour we did last Winter, we decided to do another leg this late Summer/early Fall: The W.A.S.P./ARMORED SAINT 40th Anniversary tour part 2! This is going to happen in August and September. We will be doing about thirty more shows. The plan is to go to cities we didn’t do on the last run with a few exceptions of some places where we will be returning. There will be some cities that ARMORED SAINT hasn’t played in many, many years as well as some we’ve never played in our history! We’re also happy to be going to Canada including Vancouver, which we haven’t played since 1985. Too bad it won’t be hockey season. It’s gonna be awesome! Thanks as always for all your support, and who knows, maybe we can bring this tour to some other continents on planet earth. At this moment, W.A.S.P. is currently running through its European leg of their 2022 40th Anniversary World Tour. Tickets for their upcoming run through North America will be available to the general public this Friday, April 14 at 10 a.m. local time. There will be presales throughout the week at various locations online.
