Bam Margera in More Hot Water After Getting Arrested for Alleged Domestic Violence Incident

In yet another bummer piece of Bam Margera news, the Jackass star was arrested last week after police were alerted to an alleged domestic violence incident at a home in San Diego County.

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Margera was taken into custody on March 2 in Escondido. Police said he was the suspect of an incident where he allegedly kicked an unidentified woman.

As a result, Margera was booked into the Vista Detention Facility, where he was held on suspicion of “corporal injury on a current or former spouse, cohabitant, dating partner, or fellow parent.” He was released the day after the incident after posting $50,000 bail.

The woman told police at the time that Margera was her “husband,” but Margera is still married to his estranged wife Nikki Boyd, with whom he shares a five-year-old son named Phoenix.

After all of the stories we’ve run recently about Bam, it really feels like he’s that friend you’ve had for years that just won’t get out of their own way, whether it’s because of random life drama or drug issues. Not only did he nearly die due to COVID complications, but he recently caused his long-time friend Steve-O to beg him on social media to seek help for his addiction issues. At the time, Margera’s fellow Jackass co-star said he’s “hated feeling braced for news of your death, but you’re making it clear that I have no other choice.” Ultimately, he warned that Margera was “dying” and that “it sucks that I can’t do anything to save you.”

We don’t know if Margera was officially charged with anything as a result of the incident and an investigation is ongoing.
