Limp Bizkit Uses Deepfakes to Bring Joe Biden, Vladimir Putin, and Tom Cruise Together for “Out of Style” Music Video

Normally, I’d complain about how using deepfake technology in any way is only speeding up our eventual downward spiral into a world full of misinformation and other horrific bullshit. But this latest music video for Limp Bizkit‘s “Out of Style” takes that tech and makes something fucking hilarious in the process.

Featuring the band with deepfaked images of President Joe Biden, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un, and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, the video imagines some of the world’s biggest leaders playing the song in a garage while a deepfaked Tom Cruise grills hot dogs and watches.

According to the band, the video’s full of easter eggs that fans are gonna have to take a deeper look to find, but they apparently have a “deeper message — if you are paying close enough attention.”

“Out of Style” was the intro track to Limp Bizkit’s 2021 album Still Sucks. There’s been rumblings that the band could be working on new material, but we don’t have any official confirmation of that at this time. What we do know, however, is that they’ll be playing Bamboozle in Atlantic City this May, as well as headlining Inkcarceration in July.

So yeah. Deepfakes and AI are going to ruin society in the near future, but at least it gave us a hilarious Limp Bizkit video. At least there’s that.
