L.A. Guns Announce a New Album Black Diamonds and Release Its First Single, “You Betray”

L.A. Guns — no, not Riley’s L.A. Guns — are putting out some new jams in the coming months and today we got our first taste with the release of their newest single and accompanying lyric video, “You Betray.” Along with the new song, which you can check out below, the band also revealed that their 14th studio effort, titled Black Diamonds, will be released on April 14.

According to the band, the album was written and recorded all last year, with founding member and guitarist Tracii Guns handling production. They also describe the new record as a continuation of “the same successful and inspiring sonic journey that they’ve been taking on their most recent albums, Checkered Past, The Devil You Know, and The Missing Peace.”

As you may or may not know, recent releases from L.A. Guns have taken on a more hard rock approach, which they say they’re not shying away from with Black Diamonds, though they intend to include “more introspective acoustic tracks reflective of their classic rock influences from the ’70s” with this release.
