Dismember Drop Their Massive Album and Demo Rerelease
Dismember are dropping their long-awaited rerelease, including demos from 1988 to 1990 and their best-known album, Like An Everflowing Stream. The band began to rerelease material from their catalog last year, and are continuing this year. The demos were remastered by Patrick W. Engel from new tape transfers by Nicola Costantini (‘Encyclopedia Of Svensk Döds Metall’) and showcases the band’s earliest material. It features their well-known Reborn in Blasphemy demo, which was what landed them on Nuclear Blast. Probably most exciting for fans is the new version of Like An Everflowing Stream, released with higher dynamic range from an old copy of the record that was discovered when this project started. Ever since the band’s original line-up reunited for a 30th anniversary gig at Scandinavia Death Fest in October 2019, performing together for the first time in over 20 years, they’ve been on a mission to bring the best of their catalog to the forefront once again.
