Vended Drop Their New Single “Overall” with an Accompanying Music Video
Vended, the band featuring Corey Taylor’s son Griffin and Shawn “Clown” Crahan’s son Simon, just dropped a new single and it sounds eerily familiar. Seriously, if you hit play on “Overall” and closed your eyes, you can hear bits and pieces of another Iowa-based band that some would say have already achieved “world domination” among some circles of metal fans.
Even though Griffin and the others don’t want to be directly connected to Slipknot, it’s hard to not tie them together when the vocals sound like a younger Corey Taylor. Other than that, the music is pretty good. They may not fall too far from the tree just yet, but there’s definitely a streak in them that wants to break out from their fathers’ shadows.
So yeah, check it out below and you’ll see what I mean. There’s no news on an album just yet, but this song, along with the band’s previous singles, are worth checking out.
Vended are currently out on tour with Jinjer, P.O.D., and Space of Variations. If you want to check ’em out live, you can catch them at one of the dates below.
