Lamb of God Are Also in the Heavy Metal Cruise Game with Headbangers Boat
Nowadays it seems like everybody and their mother is starting a heavy metal cruise. From Chris Jericho to Shiprocked to 70,000 Tons of Metal, there’s a big ol’ boat to spend a few days on a ship full of smelly metalheads for you.
Not to be outdone, Richmond, Virginia’s own Lamb of God are entering the arena with today’s announcement of a Headbangers Boat. Set to embark from Miami on October 31, 2023, the boat will leave Miami and head out to Nassau, Bahamas before returning to port on November 4, 2023. Before returning to port, those five days will be filled with a range of exclusive onboard activities with the band, including a casino and poker tournament, screenings of Killadelphia and Making Of: Omens, a live podcast taping of The Jasta Show, and access to the D. Randall Blythe Photography Gallery.
And while the extra activities are well and good, all you really care about are the shows. I get it. If that’s the case, then how does two Lamb of God performances, including one where they play the entirety of Ashes of the Wake.
In addition to Lamb of God, the cruise will feature performances by Hatebreed, Gwar, and Fit For An Autopsy, but that’s not all. Not only will more artists be announced soon, but apparently they’re getting Shadows Fall and God Forbid to reform for the cruise.
Tickets go on pre-sale before midnight on November 3. Keep you eyes on the official Headbangers Boat page for more details.
