Babymetal Joins Forces with Sabaton to Tour Europe and U.K.
Japanese kawaii-metal luminaries Babymetal may only recently be reentering the metal scene, but that doesn’t mean they can’t already begin plotting world domination. The love ’em- or hate’em, they’re joining Sabaton and Lordi for an upcoming tour of Europe and the U.K next year.
the dates, which you can check out below, will mark the first time in more than three years that the Japanese band will leave their homeland to rock.
Sabaton bassist Pär Sundström said the band was excited to bring Babymetal long for the outdates.
“We are extremely happy to welcome Babymetal to our already much anticipated tour in Europe 2023. The energy and power of this band will for sure make each night something special.”
Sabaton frontman also touted Babymetal’s inclusion on the bill, citing the Japanese ban’s willingness to stand out.
“If there ever was a band that would break all the rules, it’s Babymetal with the power and precision to deliver a full on heavy metal show! It’s not our first rodeo together, expect nothing but excellence from Babymetal!”
