Lorna Shore Bassist Playing Drums on European Tour

0

Deathcore crushers Lorna Shore are currently giving Europe a taste of New Jersey’s glory while on tour with Parkway Drive and While She Sleeps but the band’s touring configuration looks a bit different. According to a post on their socials, drummer Austin Archey has been forced to sit out the tour due to health issues. Bassist Michael Yager is filling in.

The band shared the news via Instagram:

“As some of you may know, our drummer Austin has been suffering from a herniated disc in his lower back for quite some time. During the EU festival run last month, it escalated to the point where he was no longer able to play without doing his body further damage. We felt it was best for him to stay at home and focus on his health. Our bassist Michael Yager has stepped up to take his place behind the kit for the Darker Still Tour.

“We appreciate your support in these times. Thank you”

No word on who’s handling bass duties. Once Lorna complete their European run, they have a few weeks off before a lengthy string of North American dates.
