Megadeth Tell the World to “Soldier On!” with New Song and Video

Earlier this morning, Megadeth released a visualizer for the new track “Soldier On!” off of their forthcoming album, The Sick, The Dying…And The Dead! Full of rah-rah military themes and damn groovy riffage throughout, the song’s pretty much what you’ve come to expect from the band in 2022.

• Does it talk about war? Check.
• Does it talk about fighting through adversity? Check.
• How about those guitars? Chugging riffs and soaring solos? Check.
• Consistent, yet effective rhythm section? Check.

Yes, it sounds like Dave’s got a formula running in the band’s next offering, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing if it’s what you’re into. At this point, we’re just happy to be writing about actual music and not David Ellefson for once.
