Wargasm Fend Off Zombies With All-Chorus Nu-Metal In Video for Latest Single
Say what you want about Wargasm (or Wargasm UK if you’re a touchy thrash metal fan) — the band know how to get our attention and make a scene. Even if you’re not a huge fan of their bounding, aggressive nu-core, you can’t deny that these guys are impossible to ignore. That’s why they’ve been so lauded by classic nu-metal acts like Korn and Limp Bizkit — and it’s definitely the running theme of their new track and music video.
The track? “Fukstar,” of course. The running lyrical theme of the song is that rich corporate asshole think they’re super cool with all their money and shit, but they actually just suck, and are making the world worse. Meanwhile, to illustrate the future we all have ahead of us thanks to these dickheads, the band perform in a Mad Max-style Thunderdome while besieged by rabid zombies.
We hate to be That Guy, but hey, this is MetalSucks, which is basically That Guy: The Website, so: what a terrible zombie barricade! LOOK at the size of the holes between those bars, man! Those motherfuckers could crawl in there two at a time, stomach to stomach. Then again, the fact that they don’t means that maybe they’re bad at being zombies, and future societies shouldn’t be THAT afraid of them. Or they’re just hypnotized by Wargasm’s music.
