Photos: Mayhem and Midnight in New York City, March 27, 2022
Last month, black metal progenitors Mayhem took the stage at New York’s Irving Plaza to bathe the crowd in pure sonic darkness. Along for the ride were black thrashers Midnight, whose perverse form of breakneck darkness had the foul smell of Cleveland upon it. Photographic evidence of this blasphemy was captured by Mark Neal over at Nightcap Studios.
