Ozzy’s New Album Is Done, Details to Be Revealed Soon
The last we heard about Ozzy Osbourne‘s new album was in November, when it was revealed that longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde would play on every song on the release. Now, Ozzy has given an update, saying the record is done, and that details for the album will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Here’s what Ozzy wrote via his social media:
“I’m so happy to let everyone know that I finished my new album this week and delivered it to my label Epic Records. I’ll be sharing all the information about the album and its’ upcoming release with you in the next several weeks.”
Ozzy’s new record is once against being produced by Andrew Watt (Post Malone), who was also at the helm for Ordinary Man. That album had some notable guest contributors, including Elton John, Slash (Guns N’ Roses), Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers). The new record will feature Smith on drums, as well as late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo (Metallica). Ozzy’s former Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi will appear as a guest on the album, as will iconic guitarist Jeff Beck and iconic guitarist/total dipshit Eric Clapton.
Meanwhile, European and UK fans can get tickets to see Ozzy at one of the dates on his repeatedly-postponed tour with Judas Priest:
