Bob’s Burgers Featured a Rob Zombie-Themed Burger Special

There are a handful of signs that you’ve truly made it as a metal musician. Headlining Wacken? Definitely up there. Getting publicly shouted at by founding Cannibal Corpse vocalist Chris Barnes? Always a good look. Being featured as a Jeopardy! question? Massive. But now, shock rocker Rob Zombie has reached a new echelon, with one of his movies being parodied as a burger special on the show Bob’s Burgers.

For those of you who don’t know, Bob’s Burgers is about a dude in New Jersey who runs a burger joint with his wife and three painfully embarrassing children. Every episode includes a Burger Of The Day on the restaurant’s chalk board, which is usually a pun that somehow hints at what’ll be included on the burger (so, off the dome, a Bought The Parm burger would have parmesan cheese on it). It’s their Simpsons couch gag.

Anyway, Rob Zombie’s specialty burger was the ‘House of 1,000 Pork-ses Burger,’ which is topped with bacon and ham. The special is of course a reference to Zombie’s debut film House of 1,000 Corpses.

The shout-out excited Rob, who wrote:

Good to see he can still get excited about this sort of thing. That said, Rob’s a vegan, so the idea of this burger must make him gag.
