TODAY: 3/4 of White Zombie’s La Sexorcisto Line-Up Honor the Album’s 30th Anniversary

Today marks the 30th anniversary of White Zombie‘s La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol. 1 being spat into the world. For many, this author included, the record is a monumental moment in metal history, an example of how weird, far-out, and fun metal could be at a time where it was shaking on its legs. Now, our friends at Metal Injection have gotten 3/4 of the band together to talk about the process and impact behind this historic record.

In the video below, fans can watch as three of the musicians behind La Sexorcisto —  Sean Yseult, Jay Yuenger, and Ivan de Prume — sit down with Metal Injection’s Frank Godla to talk about the history and legacy of this amazing record. From the songwriting process to Beavis and Butt-Head to their absent bandmate, the trio dive into all things Sexorcisto on the anniversary of the album’s birth.
