Video: Exodus Joined Onstage by Machine Head’s Robb Flynn, Ex-Guitarist Rick Hunolt

0

If you know anything about Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn, you know that the dude loves Exodus. Robb has been vocal about the influence that the band’s debut album Bonded By Blood had on his life. So it’s really awesome to watch this footage of Robb joining Exodus onstage for a couple of songs off of the album — and that the band also brought up Rick Hunolt, one of the guitarists who actually played on Bonded By Blood!

The collaboration went down at last night’s show at 3rd And Castro in West Oakland, California. Video was captured by YouTuber Iron Serbian, and shows a gig that is basically just one big fucking party. Flynn, of course, knows every word, and looks like a kid the way he’s grinning. Overall, it’s a heartwarming collaboration, and getting Hunolt up there too is a great way of honoring the band’s legacy (and showing that all is well between members past and present).
