The Prodigy Announce First Tour Since Keith Flint Died

For a generation of rock and metal fans, The Prodigy were the gateway drug to electronic and dance music (in the UK, they’re regarded on the same level as, say, Korn or Guns N’ Roses — a massive, game-changing act). Much of that came from the volatile and compelling behavior and attitude of Keith Flint, the band’s singer, who passed away in 2019. Now, the band have announced a UK tour, their first since Flint’s death, in honor of the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough album Fat of the Land.

In a media statement (via Consequence of Sound), the band said the following:

“WE CANT WAIT TO GET BACK ONSTAGE AND PLAY OUR TUNES FOR THE PEOPLE AGAIN. THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF ‘FAT OF THE LAND’  FELT LIKE THE RIGHT TIME FOR US TO STEP UP.

“WE’LL BE DROPPIN TUNES FROM ALL OUR ALBUMS AND MAYBE SOME SHIT U HAVNT HEARD BEFORE.”

“THIS ONE’S FOR FLINTY,  NOW LETS FUKIN GO!!”
