Glassjaw Cancel Six of Their 20th Anniversary Tour Dates “Due to Hospitalization”
Many of us grew up loving and respecting Glassjaw, who were always one of the more interesting acts to emerge during nu-metal’s peak. The band’s sound incorporated a lot of post-hardcore and progressive rock elements that added to their kinetic power, making them a worthy peer of artists like Dillinger Escape Plan. Unfortunately, the band have had to cut six dates off of their current anniversary tour “due to hospitalization” — though what that means and who is hospitalized, we don’t know.
Glassjaw issued the following statement via their social media:
“due to hospitalization, glassjaw will be unable to perform the following shows:
3/2 LA
3/3 LA
3/4 SF
3/5 SF
3/6 pomona
3/8 denver“glassjaw will resume its tour on 3/10 in san antonio and will reschedule the above affected dates for october 2022. all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new show dates as follows:
10/24 LA
10/25 LA
10/27 denver
10/30 pomona
11/1 SF
11/2 SF“our deepest apologies for any inconvenience.”
Woof, six dates! That’s brutal. We just hope everyone’s okay. “Hospitalization” definitely brings all sorts of horrible thoughts to our minds.
