Fender Factory In Mexico Catches Fire
Hayo, Fender may not want to be giving away all those guitar lessons quite yet. According to news from Ensanada.net, the guitar company’s factory in Ensenada, Mexico, just caught fire!
According to the site, one of the factory’s warehouses caught fire this Wednesday, 2/16, at approximately 6:30am AM. The blaze was quickly controlled by firefighters from throughout the city.
The fire became so powerful that workers were evacuated, and there was worry that it might spread to the next door Schlage plant or burn hazardous materials within the warehouse.
Thankfully, though photos of the fire make it look insane, none of the factory’s workers were harmed in the blaze. And while the loss of guitars or guitar-making materials sucks, we’re just glad everyone’s okay.
